The Papua New Guinea Oncology Nurses Association (PaNGONA) is proud to host its 1st National Oncology Nursing Conference from 16th to 18th December 2026 at the prestigious APEC House in Port Moresby.
This landmark event will bring together oncology nurses, healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, policymakers, and international partners to share knowledge, experiences, and innovations that shape the future of cancer care in Papua New Guinea.
Under the theme “Empowering Oncology Nurses for Quality Cancer Care in PNG”, the conference will focus on advancing the roles of oncology nurses through education, leadership, collaboration, and research. Participants will engage in plenary sessions, panel discussions, clinical workshops, and poster presentations, designed to enhance professional competence and promote evidence-based practice.
The conference will also feature:
Keynote speakers from national and international oncology organizations.
Interactive workshops on chemotherapy safety, palliative care, research, and leadership.
