PaNGONA—the Papua New Guinea Oncology Nurses Association—is more than a professional body; it is a community of dedicated nurses united by a shared mission: to improve cancer care across the nation. We bring together oncology nurses and allied health professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and families affected by cancer.

Our association provides a platform for learning, collaboration, and leadership. Through specialized training programs, research initiatives, and professional development opportunities, PaNGONA equips its members with the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care. We also foster connections between nurses across regions, encouraging collaboration and the sharing of best practices.

PaNGONA advocates for quality patient care, supports oncology nurses in their professional journey, and builds partnerships with national and international organizations to enhance the impact of our work. By joining our association, members gain access to valuable resources, mentorship, and a supportive network dedicated to advancing oncology nursing in Papua New Guinea.

Together, we are shaping a future where every person affected by cancer receives care that is informed, compassionate, and of the highest standard. PaNGONA empowers nurses, strengthens healthcare, and inspires hope throughout the country.
